The Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Needs Assessment 2016 provides an evidence base to make sure we are planning to provide the right number of Gypsy and Traveller pitches and Travelling Showpeople plots in the future.

A Needs Assessment enables local authorities to comply with planning policy and legislation in the same way as we plan for the needs of the settled community.  The study covers the period between 2016 and 2036.

Action on Energy is a Cambridgeshire local authorities' partnership set up to help residents access grant funding for home energy saving measures. 

Between November 2014 and October 2016, Action on Energy helped over 800 owner occupied or private rented households in Cambridgeshire to get solid wall insulation and other energy saving measures installed to their homes with generous grants from the government's Green Deal Communities fund.
