South Cambridgeshire District Council Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy

The new Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy [PDF, 0.7MB] came into effect on the 1 November 2025.

Before submitting an application, all applicants must ensure they have read the policy and the relevant appendices, which will provide information such as conditions of licences, the penalty points scheme and vehicle standards.
