Fowlmere Parish Council by-election

A by-election for the current vacancy on Fowlmere Parish Council will be held on 13 August 2026.

The deadline to register to vote is 28 July. You can apply online at the government website. 

The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on 29 July. You can apply online at the government website. 

The deadline to apply for a proxy vote is 5pm on 5 August. You can apply online at the government website. 

If you do not own any acceptable photo ID and need to apply for free Voter ID you must apply by the deadline of 5pm on 5 August. You can apply online at the government website. 

If you are unable to apply online and want to request a paper form or have any questions please email elections@scambs.gov.uk.

A neighbourhood plan referendum was held on Thursday 2 July for Heydon.

Parish Elections

After the close of nominations for the elections held on 7 May 2026, 4 parish councils remained inquorate. These were Castle Camps, Kingston, Little Gransden and Litlington.

A new election was set for 18 June. At the close of nominations at 4pm on 21 May all four parishes were uncontested.

District Council and Town and Parish Council Elections

Elections were held on 7 May 2026 for all Councillors on South Cambridgeshire District Council as well as for all Town and Parish Councils in South Cambridgeshire.

After the close of nominations 4 parish councils remained inquorate and the election will be re-run. These 4 parish councils are: Castle Camps, Kingston, Litlington and Little Gransden.
