Guest Information Hub
If you are a Ukrainian arriving in the UK, or a host welcoming your guest, we want to make sure you have the help and support you need.
The UK Government has produced a national welcome guide for people from Ukraine living in the UK. It includes specific information for those arriving on the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Help if you are at risk of homelessness
If you are a guest from Ukraine and you have arrived in the UK, but you are now at risk of becoming homeless – for instance if the relationship between you and your host has broken down – it is important to act as soon as possible. Additionally, if you are already homeless, please contact our team for advice and support.
H.A.Y. South Cambs - support groups
The organisation H.A.Y. South Cambs! How Are You? promotes positive mental health in South Cambridgeshire. Its website shines a spotlight on all those things going on in the community that are good for our mental wellbeing, as well as giving support to those experiencing a mental health crisis.
Its website features a dedicated page for Ukrainian guests and host families Ukrainian Guests and Host Families - How Are You South Cambs. It has published details of local groups who can provide your guests with local information, cultural advice and support with English, as well as an opportunity to meet and socialise with others.
The website page also includes a map showing where different support groups are situated, which may be useful to those who have arrived in neighbouring parishes where there’s limited support in place.
If you know of any groups in your village, please could you encourage them to complete the Community Support for Ukraine form.
