In 2018 Bourn Airfield was allocated in the South Cambridgeshire Local Plan for the development of a new village of approximately 3,500 homes. In 2019 South Cambridgeshire District Council adopted the Bourn Airfield New Village Supplementary Planning Document which sets out what we expect the development to include.

October 2019 – South Cambridgeshire District Council adopted the Bourn Airfield New Village SPD


January 2020 – Revised outline application submitted for 3,500 homes (S/3440/18/OL)
