Connected for Warmth

Connected for warmth is a grant scheme offering free energy-saving measures to homes across the UK, funded by National Grid. The scheme is open to owner-occupiers and private renters, with cooperation from their landlord. They offer fully funded clean heating systems (air source heat pumps), and cavity wall or loft insulation.

You can apply online or call the Connected for Warmth team on 0800 107 8576.

To qualify, you must meet the eligibility requirements below. Properties must also be technically suitable for the insulation measures available. For example, if you live in a flat or in a listed building it may not be possible to treat your home. This will be confirmed via your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), or the home survey undertaken by Connected for Warmth.

You can find out if there is an EPC for your property on the government website.
