Cllr Bridget Smith, Leader of South Cambridgeshire District Council, said: “We have been listening to the things our communities have been telling us are important to them and used that information to pull together this early draft business plan for next year. However, now is the best time for us to run a consultation to really help us shape the final outcome. We are here to serve our communities and what our residents and businesses tell us is really important.
“There is no doubt that we continue to have significant budget pressures as the money we receive to provide services is cut and we must make sure our resources are targeted in the right way."
