The following planning application decisions were made at the meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee, held as a hybrid meeting on Wednesday 29 September 2021 at South Cambridgeshire Hall. Holding it in this way enabled the meeting to be COVID-19 safe within the room, whilst allowing officers and public speakers to participate virtually.

  1. Construction of a chalet bungalow with garage and associated infrastructure, at The Retreat Fews Lane, Longstanton.
    Applicant: Mr Gerry Caddoo, Landbrook Homes Ltd.
    Decision: Minded to approve to inform Statement of Case that will be prepared and presented to the Planning Inspectorate, which will determine this application as the applicant has submitted an appeal to them.

  2. Submission of details required by condition 10 (Surface Water Drainage) of planning permission S/1963/15/OL, land to North and South of Bartlow Road, Linton
    Applicant: Abbey Developments Limited
    Decision: Refused

  3. Variation of condition 11 (Foul water drainage) of outline planning permission S/1963/15/OL (Up to 55 homes with landscape buffer and new vehicle access from Bartlow Road) for revised wording to refer to the foul drainage design, at land to the North and South of Bartlow Road, Linton
    Applicant: Abbey Developments Limited
    Decision: Refused

  4. Submission of details required by condition 12 (foul water drainage) of planning permission S/2553/16/OL for outline planning application for up to 42 homes and allotments on land off Horseheath Road, Linton
    Applicant: Croudace Homes
    Decision: Deferred
