The following planning application decisions were made at the meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee that was held virtually on Wednesday 9 September 2020.

  1. A new two-storey building and new one-storey building, both for educational use, and associated landscaping, car parking and replacement storage facility at Impington Village College, New Road, Impington
    Applicant: The Morris Education Trust
    Decision: The Committee resolved to grant delegated approval, subject to no issues being raised by representors during the remaining consultation period

  2. Reserved matters application for appearance, landscaping, layout and scale following outline planning permission for 154 new homes on land north east of Rampton Road, Cottenham
    Applicant: This Land
    Decision: Deferred

  3. An outline planning application for the demolition of existing buildings, to be replaced with up to 16 homes and office accommodation, public open space and landscaping at Tanner and Hall Ltd, Station Road, Harston
    Applicant: Axis Land Partnerships Ltd
    Decision: The Committee resolved that officers be authorised to refuse the application, subject to no issues being raised by representors during the remaining consultation period

  4. Discharge of condition 4 (foul water drainage) and 5 (surface water drainage) of planning permission S/2937/16/FL at The Retreat, Fews Lane, Longstanton
    Applicant: Mr Gerry Caddoo, Landbrook Homes Ltd
    Decision: Deferred

  5. 5-bedroom house and 1-bedroom annex at 130 Rampton Road, Willingham
    Applicant: Mr and Mrs Webster
    Decision: Approved

  6. Carbon reduction measures including a borehole array across the car park, ground source heat pump system and photovoltaic solar car ports at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne

    Decision: Approved

  7. Replacement bowls pavilion following demolition of the existing pavilion at Waterbeach Recreation Ground, Waterbeach

    Decision: Approved

  8. Second floor front extension at 2 Butt Lane, Great Wilbraham
    Applicant: Mr & Mrs A. Devereux
    Decision: The Committee resolved to grant delegated approval, subject to no issues being raised by representors during the remaining consultation period
