Cambridge Fringes Joint Development Control Committee

The Cambridge Fringes Joint Development Control Committee is administered by Cambridge City Council.

In late 2007 the 3 local authorities responsible for planning major growth around Cambridge decided to work more formally in partnership by creating the Cambridge Fringes Joint Development Control Committee to determine the planning applications for the major growth sites.

The Committee comprises 6 Members each from Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council and 4 Members from Cambridgeshire County Council.

The Committee is responsible for determining major planning applications in the Southern Fringe, North West Cambridge, North East Cambridge and East Cambridge.
