Doubling Nature

Tree planting can offset some of the carbon dioxide, which is contributing to climate change, and improve air quality. South Cambridgeshire District Council is a member of Natural Cambridgeshire. This is a partnership between local Councils, businesses, health, farming, wildlife and environmental organisations all working towards doubling the area of rich wildlife habitats and natural green space across the county.

The Tree Warden Scheme is a national initiative to help in conserving and enhancing their local trees and woods. Learn if you’d like to become a volunteer or find out more about the Tree Warden network in South Cambridgeshire.
