Children's sports holiday camps
We encourage young people to try out a variety of different activities and learn new skills in safe and enjoyable, inclusive sessions led by fully qualified and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) approved coaches. These holiday camps are for children in Year 3 to Year 9 of all abilities.
Athletics
Rotation on each day of 4/5 events from Long/triple/high jump, Howlers/Discus Throws, 400m to 1500m endurance/distance running, 75m, 100m, 200m Sprints. Receive coaching in each event and your personal best recorded on a certificate for you to take away.
Netball
Receive coaching suitable for all abilities from those who are trying netball for the first time to those who already play. The days will have fun games/activities in attacking and defending, along with learning the skills of shooting, footwork, passing and catching.
Cost
Multiple children can only be booked onto holiday camps if they are siblings.
- One child: £25
- More than one child: £23 per child
2024 May Holiday Camps
Bookings are now open for the 2024 May Holiday Camps. All sessions run from 10am to 3:30pm. There are now separate booking forms for both camps.Details are as follows:
- Athletics – 28 May 2024 (being held at The University Athletics Track, Wilberforce Road, Cambridge CB3 9AD)
- Netball – 29 May 2024 (being held at Impington Sports Centre, New Road, Impington, Cambridge CB24 9LX)
Please make sure you are using the correct form to apply for your chosen camp.
Future 2024 dates for your diary
All sessions run from 10am to 3:30pm.Appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoors is essential. Snacks, lunch and plenty to drink should be brought along to the sessions.
