With effect from Monday 1st October 2018, we will only be taking email bookings for Personal Searches.
The procedure will be as follows:
To request a personal search of the Local Land Charges Register, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please give at least 2 working days notice in advance of your preferred appointment and provide the following information:
You can submit up to 6 addresses for any appointment (one appointment per company per day) with a separate site plan for each address.
We will email you back to confirm the booking. If for any reason you can't make an appointment please email to rearrange as soon as possible.
Monday to Thursday - 10.00 am, 11.00am and 2.00pm - by appointment only
Friday - 10.00 am and 11.00 am - by appointment only.
Whilst we appreciate that delays may occur, we would be grateful if you could adhere to your appointment slot.

That all registrations prior to the 1st January 2010 are held in manual registers.
All registrations made with effect from the 1st January 2010 are held in electronic format.
Only the Land Charges staff are able to access them and will advise you if any apply to the property/piece of land that you are searching against.
Any queries regarding the content of a Personal Search will be directed back to the Personal Search Agency or person who carried out the search.
