Our award-winning communications colleagues are at the centre of the Council, as part of the newly formed Communications and Communities Service.

This new and exciting team have a range of expertise and specialisms, but the common goal is to put our customers and communities at our heart.

The Websites Content Officer works alongside the Senior Websites Officer, to provide simple and accessible content for the various websites, eforms and intranets used by the Council.

The role aims to ensure that the content makes using the sites as easy as possible, which will assist in helping customers to shift from telephoning and visiting the Council, to being able to self-serve 24/7.

We’re looking for a customer focused, helpful and enthusiastic self-starter, who has a passion for ensuring technical information can be translated and presented so it is easy for everyone to understand.

The role suits a positive person, who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They’ll be working with services on a daily basis so need to be a people person, who can easily establish rapport and relationships.

Excellent written English skills are a must and even better attention to detail.

We currently continue to work from home as a rule because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, but there will be opportunities for more collaborative in-person working at South Cambs Hall in Cambourne in future.
