South Cambridgeshire District Councils Health and Environmental Services department are now recruiting for a Resource Officer to join their Resource Team on a full time permanent contract.
Based from our Cambourne offices with occasional working from our Waterbeach Depot, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate, busy, fast paced and innovative team.
As Resource Officer, you will provide exceptional administrative support to all sections and teams within Health and Environmental Services and Licensing, by following the Council’s guidelines and procedures yet leaving room for using initiative when resolving customer enquires, prioritising of workloads to completing tasks within deadlines.
You will be expected to be a strong team player working closely with colleagues within your team and the wider department. You should be innovative and prepared to share ideas, continually striving to improve the service as well as your own learning and development.
Working within the role of Resource Officer you should have a good knowledge and understanding of customer care as well as the services provided to internal and external customers.
Our team provide support covering a wide range of issues varying from stray dogs, temporary event notices, taxi licenses to missed bin collections. No one day is the same as the last.
