A rare and exciting opportunity has a risen within the Greater Cambridge Planning Enforcement Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Principal Planning Enforcement Manager to help lead and manage our enforcement service including help investigate breaches of planning control and undertake the necessary action to ensure compliance with planning legislation.
You need to be a team player, self-motivated, an organised person and be calm under pressure. Duties will include the management of the enforcement team, assisting with the investigation of alleged breaches and offences, preparation of enforcement notices and files for prosecution, and attending court when necessary to give evidence on behalf of the Council. Greater Cambridge has a number of listed buildings, conservation areas and a mixture of rural and urban areas so the work is varied and exciting.
