Salary: Grade 4 £25,726 to £30,737 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Location: Cambourne/Hybrid
Contract type: 9 month Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37 hours per week, but flexible or reduced hours considered
Closing date: 1 July 2022


We are currently recruiting for a HR System Analyst to join the Human Resources team in a hybrid working role.

The Council has implemented a new HR system – ITrent and is currently in phase 2 of delivery of the remaining ancillary modules of the system, this role would be responsible for testing and implementing as well as translating current business processes into the new system, creating efficiencies and digitalising our current processes. If you enjoy creating and developing new processes, and have experience of ITrent, this is the role for you.

This role would be the first point of contact for HR system enquiries and delivering user friendly guidance and training to the organisation on how the system works.

The HR department is a small, innovative and proactive team which has a positive and flexible approach to challenges. It is important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure and manage a varied workload with competing priorities.

For this role it will deal heavily on interrogating data therefore, an attention to detail and a strong IT knowledge is essential, you will also be responsible for investigating queries and finding solutions so initiative and problem solving abilities are key. Experience in a HR environment is desirable but not essential
