We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join the Human Resources team. Our HR team are usually based at our Cambourne head office, however South Cambs District Council promotes agile working and can accommodate an element of home working.
The Council is working on a project to implement a new HR system and as a result the project will require an effective administrator to support the project with administration and interrogation of data to ensure the smooth transition of all the employee data to the new system. As HR Administrator you would be the first point of contact for HR enquiries regarding the project and provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Organisational Development Team delivering the project.
As well as processing all administration concerned with the project, you may also help organise any learning and development activities plus assist with the monitoring of the HR budgets, including invoice processing and recording relating to the project.
The HR department is a small, innovative and proactive team which has a positive and flexible approach to challenges. It is important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure and manage a varied workload with competing priorities.
This project will deal heavily on interrogating data, therefore a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, knowledge of HR systems and be able to demonstrate a strong IT knowledge. You will have experience of working in an office environment, ideally within HR.
