Full time permanent contract, 37 hours per week

Salary: Grade 3, £21,252 - £24,427 p.a.

With this role we are offering a 'golden hello' one off payment of £2,500 to any successful applicant who joins the Council.

South Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridge City Council are recruiting for Refuse and Sweeper Drivers to join the team which deliver high-quality, environmentally-sustainable services.

As our new HGV Driver you will need to be committed to the delivery of high-quality customer service, be fully-licensed HGV driver holding a driver’s valid CPC card and qualified to drive any LGV2 vehicle. You will be working as part of a team and it is expected that you may need to work as a Loader on some of the daily rounds to support your crew where required.

If interested in the Sweeper Driver vacancies, full sweeper training will be provided, however HGV license is required.
