We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to lead our team based at Cambourne providing a complete Facilities Management service for South Cambridgeshire Hall building users
As Facilities Manager you will need experience of working in providing premises management, premises health and safety management and maintenance services in order to manage South Cambridgeshire Hall, its car parks and grounds. You will also ensure the efficient and effective facility management of any other sites owned or operated by the Council.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you will manage our team of caretakers and caterers and contract manage Electricians and Maintenance Engineers.
As part of this role your will be responsible for the provision of a vigilant, proactive, responsive, and customer-focused Facilities Management service at all times.
You will provide a complete Facilities Management service ensuring value for money is achieved for the Council, and that service is customer-focused, professional and performing at an optimum level at all times.
You will implement a culture of continuous improvement across all FM activities.
As the successful candidate you will be expected to be a Member of the Institute of Workplace Facilities Management or CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIOH. You should have a Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH) and have a project management qualification (Prince2 Foundation) Also, we would expect you to have at least three years’ experience of working in a similar role.
