Our award-winning communications colleagues are at the centre of the Council as part of the newly formed Communications and Communities Service.
This new and exciting team have a range of expertise and specialisms, but the common goal is to put our customers and communities at our heart.
We've got a brilliant opportunity for a Communications Apprentice in the team.
The apprenticeship course is a Level 3 Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship run by Cambridge Marketing College. The course is online learning only and will be 20% of your time. You will learn to create content for a wide range of media, including digital, social media, broadcast and print. You’ll also gain understanding of the best platforms or channels to use and be able to effectively analyse the outcomes.
For the remaining 80% of your time, you’ll work closely with the Senior Websites Officer, to provide support in all areas of our websites. One minute you’ll be responding to resident emails, the next you'll updating a webpage or building an eform and then you’ll be creating content for social media.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is ready to learn about Communications.
We currently continue to work from home as a rule because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, but there will be opportunities for more collaborative in-person working at South Cambs Hall in Cambourne in future.
