We are looking for a competent individual to assist in a wide range of administration tasks within the South Cambridgeshire District Councils Housing Team. You will be based in the Property Services Support Team which provides administration for all maintenance and improvement works to over 5,750 council homes across 100 villages. We have a number of exciting projects, enhancing the quality of many of our housing stock thus improving the quality of life for many of our tenants which you will be part of. These include major refurbishment works to the servicing of equipment within a property.

As our new apprentice you will be an individual who is self-motivated, a team player, efficient and organised with a high level of accuracy. Key responsibilities include assisting in meetings, taking minutes, updating service programmes and installations, uploading compliance certificates to the Asset Management system and using the Housing Management systems on a daily basis. The role will also include aiding with incoming and outgoing mail services, electronic filling and general office duties.

Flexible working conditions are offered with office opening hours between 8.00am to 6.30pm. This post is a fixed term post for a duration of 2 years with working hours 37 per week. You will complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.
