The following decisions were made at this week’s meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee, held on Wednesday 10 January at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne:

  1. Construction of new village hall and car parking at Hauxton Recreation Ground, Church Road
    Applicant: Hauxton Parish Council
    Decision: Approved

  2. Comprehensive redevelopment of the Sawston Trade Park and surrounding empty land. Includes plans for a new business park and associated car parking and refurbishment of Unit H. A1301/London Road, Pampisford
    Applicant: Howard Sawston Ltd
    Decision: Approved

  3. Three self-build homes at Macaulay Avenue, Great Shelford
    Applicant: South Cambridgeshire District Council
    Decision: Approved

  4. Six self-build homes at Case De Foseta, Caldecote
    Applicant: Mr Normal Marles
    Decision: Approved

  5. 23 new homes with access from The Moor, along with infrastructure and open space, on land to the rear of 46 – 56 The Moor, Melbourn
    Applicant: John Hanson, Hanson Services Ltd
    Decision: Approved

  6. 15 new homes, including six affordable properties, and open space, at Chrishall Road, Fowlmere
    Applicant: Colegrove Estates Ltd
    Decision: Refused
