Need some housing advice?
Our Housing Advice and Options team provides free housing advice to everyone in the district - home owners and renters.
Our Housing Advisers will advise you on your housing options and certain legal rights if you have any.

We have duties to help you to prevent your homelessness. We will assist you to stay in your current accommodation or discuss other housing options.
If need help you with your situation, it is vital you contact us as soon as possible.
You can read the Homelessness Reduction Act: policy factsheet - providing background information on the measures within the Homelessness Reduction Act and the Homelessness (Review Procedure etc) Regulations 2018.
We operate an appointment service that can become busy, so please contact us as soon as you can. Appointments will usually be at our Cambourne offices.
Advice surgeries - Sawston
Get free, confidential housing advice and more at our regular surgery events in Sawston.
Open to all residents whether you own your home or rent it, privately, from the Council or a housing association and also available to landlords.
Just turn up, there is no need to book an appointment.
Free confidential advice from our services including;
- Housing issues
- Council Tax payments
- financial worries
- neighbour problems
- anti-social behaviour issues, and more
Visit us between 10am and 1pm, at:

On the following dates:
- 9 and 23 July
- 6 and 20 August
- 3 and 17 September
- 1, 15, and 29 October
- 12 and 26 November
- 10 December. This is the final date before the surgery shuts for Christmas.
