South Cambridgeshire: Let's Talk Business

South Cambridgeshire businesses are being offered the chance to get valuable advice and find out about support available from the District Council during discussions and networking at IWM Duxford.

The event on Friday 16 March, run by South Cambridgeshire District Council, will also be an opportunity for local companies to help shape how the Council supports them, and promotes economic growth, in one of the fastest growing areas of the UK.

On the day, businesses will hear from:

  • Senior Councillors who will talk about the Council support currently on offer to businesses and how that may be enhanced in future
  • The Director of Cambridge Science Park who will pass on valuable insights and experiences of doing business in South Cambridgeshire
  • A marketing expert with inspirational hints and tips to help firms get the most from their brands

Following these talks, there will be interactive group sessions for business leaders to discuss the opportunities ahead, and challenges they face. There will also be chances to tell the Council how it, along with partners, could further strengthen support for local businesses.

Over lunch, delegates can network with other firms and speak with officers from some of the Council’s teams, for example, procurement and environmental health.

Representatives from Signpost2Grow, South Cambridgeshire’s key business support agency, will also be on-hand to answer more specific questions.

Finally, after lunch, attendees are free to explore the fantastic sights and sounds at IWM Duxford.

The event is free to business, however spaces are limited, so book as soon as possible.
