The following planning applications were considered at the meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee held on Wednesday 8 February 2023 at 10am at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne.   

• Application to determine additional access points, layout, scale, landscape, and appearance of Stapleford Retirement Village, on land between Haverhill Road and Hinton Way, Stapleford. This follows outline planning permission 20/02929/OUT.
  Applicant: Rangeford Villages Ltd

• 113 homes on the former Barrington Cement Works, Haslingfield Road, Barrington. This is an increase of 37 homes from the previous scheme approved under application S/3485/18/RM.
  Applicant: Redrow (South Midlands)
  Decision: Approved
  
  
• Nine self-build homes at Fenny Lane Farm, Fenny Lane, Meldreth.
  Applicant: Mrs Philippa and Joanne Hart
  Decision: Refused
  
  
• Demolition of garage and construction of a single-storey extension to the side of 77 Church Lane, Girton, along with a further extension, loft extension and dormer window to the rear.
  Applicant: Mr. Ammar Al Asaad
  Decision: Approved
