Report a street lighting fault
All our street lights have numbers beginning with the prefix 'SC’ and are generally located along footpaths within parishes.
We maintain around 1800 street lights in South Cambridgeshire and aim to respond to all reported faults with our street lights within 14 to 28 days.
You can report that a street light is not working through our website using the link below. To do this you will need the street light number, which can be found using our street light map.
General faults can also be reported to our Contact Centre by calling 03450 450063 between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Please note our lines can be very busy around the middle of the day and are generally less busy early mornings or later in the day.
Do not report urgent faults (faults which pose an immediate risk of injury) through our website as this may delay response. Please see further down the page for how to report an urgent street light fault.

Please note that the majority of lights (52,000) across the district are maintained by Cambridgeshire County Council. If the street light number does not begin with the prefix ‘SC’ then please report a fault via the link below.
