26 May 2017

The final places at a half term netball course aimed at 7 to 14 year-olds (school years 2 to 10) are still up for grabs – but be quick before the final whistle blows and you miss out.

The netball event for all abilities is run by England qualified coaches and will help young people hone their passing, shooting and game play with a fun filled day of activities.

The netball camp takes place at Impington Village College Sports Centre on Wednesday 31 May from 10am to 3.30pm.

For more information, and to book a place, visit  email or call 01954 713070 during normal office hours.

The cost for one child is £20. If two or more siblings attend, the cost is £18 per person per day.

Booking open on 1 June for the summer holiday camps – these include netball and athletics. The Council may also be organising rounders and Kwik Cricket events.

Cllr Sue Ellington, South Cambridgeshire District Council’s cabinet member for Health and Wellbeing, said: “Our holiday camps are a fun way to keep our young residents active in the school holidays whilst driving home the importance of keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. Don’t miss out on the last places on the netball event – it will be a great day for all.”
