Our service
We are responsible for the maintenance of around 1800 streetlights in the district. The location of our streetlights can be found on our map.
By March 2023 our streetlights were changed to LED lamps which is estimated to have saved a little over 70% in the energy they use.
Our streetlights are now maintained through a scheme operated by Suffolk County Council. Through the scheme reported streetlight faults are expected to be attended to within 10 days. Lights are also structurally inspected and electrically tested every 6 years.
