The following planning application decisions were made at the meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee, held as a hybrid meeting on Wednesday 11 August 2021 at South Cambridgeshire Hall. Holding it in this way enabled the meeting to be COVID-19 safe within the room, whilst allowing officers and public speakers to participate virtually.

  1. Construction of 41 new homes, including two self-build plots, at Bennell Farm, West Street, Toft.
    Applicant: Bennell Developments Ltd
    Decision: Refused

  2. The removal of a conservatory, to be replaced with a large rear extension with a canopy. Extension of front and rear gables. Loft conversation with addition of rooflights. Replacement garage with workshop above and new detached outbuilding with tennis court and gym to rear. All at Reston, Huntingdon Road, Girton.
    Applicant: Dr Ajay Kumar
    Decision: Refused

  3. Two-storey rear extension and two additional gable windows at 30 Hilton Street, Over.
    Applicant: Mr Paul McEneaney
    Decision: Approved

  4. Single-storey rear extension, replacing existing outbuilding with associated internal alterations at 6 Westfield Road, Fowlmere.
    Applicant: South Cambridgeshire District Council
    Decision: Approved
