Ermine street housing

Ermine Street Housing is the trading name for South Cambs Limited, the housing company set up by South Cambridgeshire District Council. We are an independent limited company, but wholly owned by the Council. The income generated is reinvested in the Council to provide and protect valuable services our residents want and need.

In November 2015 the Council decided to expand the business and invest a further £100 million over the next 5 years, buying an additional 500 properties.

The Event Safety Advisory Group (SAG), comprises senior officers from all of the emergency services, South Cambridgeshire District Council and also representatives from other relevant organisations.

Elections are due to be held on Thursday 4 May 2017 for both Cambridgeshire County Council and for the first Mayor of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.

Nominations for both elections open at 9am on Wednesday 22 March and will close at 4pm on Tuesday 4 April.
