Privacy statement
As a registered Data Controller under the Data Protection Act (1998) we abide by the eight principles of the act, which ensure the safe processing, and storage of personal data. On certain occasions we will ask you to provide us with personal data (such as your name, address, date of birth) in order for us to provide you with all services that you are entitled to.
Any personal data, which you provide us, will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act and in accordance with the purposes we have identified on our Data Protection Notification, which is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Our Information Charter sets out the standards you can expect from the Council when we request or hold personal information about you.
Fair Processing
We will ensure that any data we collect about you will be processed in a fair and lawful manner.
