An extra exhibition date has been added to Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council's consultation on a draft frame framework for all minerals and waste developments for 2006-2026. Go along to The Octagon, Willingham on 16 March between 4pm and 8pm.

Make sure you get your vote!
Electors in South Cambridgeshire are being encouraged to make sure they are registered to vote ahead of local elections on 6 May and a general election due shortly. People can only vote in an election if they are on the register of electors. The last opportunity to do this ahead of the 6 May elections is 20 April.

Blue bin to replace the green box
From October 2010, South Cambridgeshire District Council is changing the way it collects your recyclable waste by replacing the existing green box scheme with a blue wheeled bin, which comes with a specially designed inner caddy to keep paper separate from everything else.
