Grants Portal

On this page you will find all information relating to grants available from SCDC. The grants you can apply for now fall into 3 categories:

Service Support Grants
Capital Grants
Community Chest Grants

Each category has its own page (links below) with supporting information, criteria and guidance notes, an application form (if the scheme is currently open) and details of the forthcoming round (if the scheme is currently closed). On each page you will also find details of a dedicated contact officer for support and advice about the scheme.

* Please note, that South Cambridgeshire District Council has also contributed funding to a 'Reward Grant Fund' being administered by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation (CCF). Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available and funding is to be allocated in two broadly equal grants rounds. The deadline for the second round is 15th September 2012. Constituted groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations can apply if they have appropriate policies and documentation.
The purpose of the funding is to 'reduce inequalities' and applications are welcomed from projects that aim to:

  • improve the employability of local people, especially young people, helping them to move into sustainable work;
  • assist older people to continue to live in their homes and maintain their independence for as long as possible;
  • work with disadvantaged communities where people are living on low incomes or vulnerable because of age, disability or other factors.

    For further information visit www.cambscf.org.uk (This link will open in a new window)or telephone Marion Branch at CCF on 01480 410535.
