Introduction
Each year we agree milestones to give a clear focus on our priorities and other issues we wish to address corporately.
Progress against the milestones is monitored quarterly by Management Team and Cabinet and any necessary corrective action is initiated.
The milestones in the tables below are largely taken from the CPA Improvement Plan approved by the Council in January 2005. Where appropriate the code for each milestone from the CPA Improvement Plan (A1, C3, D5 etc) is given after the text of the milestone. In some cases milestones have been carried forward from 2004/05. In such cases the text of the milestone is followed by a cross reference to the 2004/05 milestone number (e.g. (04/05 M6), which can be found in the 2004 Performance Plan.
Other information given for each milestone is:-
- The Portfolio Holder and Director responsible for the achievement of the milestone.

The target date based on calendar dates (eg Q2 2005 means completion by 30th June 2005, Q3 2005 means completion by 30th September
2005 etc)
