Cambridgeshire Local Transport Plan

The Cambridgeshire Local Transport Plan (LTP) sets out the existing and future transport issues and how these will be addressed. There have to date been three Cambridgeshire Local Transport Plans. The current LTP covers the period between 2006/07 and 2010/11.

Cambridgeshire County Council has just begun the process of developing a new Local Transport Plan for the County. The current Local Transport Plan is due to run out in 2011, and therefore needs to be replaced with a new plan that will reflect the current and future transport needs of the County.

In July 2009, the Department for Transport issued guidance to local authorities on what a new plan should include.
