STREET LIGHTING

In April 2006 footway lights marked with the letters SC and a number on the column, that had previously been the responsibility of South Cambridgeshire District Council, were taken over by individual Parish Councils.

These lights along with all illuminated traffic signs and all adopted street lights marked with the letters CCC and a number on the column are maintained by Cambridgeshire County Council.

To report a SC or CCC light that is out, working intermittently, on during the day, or otherwise faulty, please note down the following information:

The VILLAGE
The STREET
The COLUMN SC/CCC NUMBER (This will be on a plastic plate on the light column, about five to six feet up)

and contact the County Council:
