sports development and funding

Sports development is part of South Cambridgeshire District Council's Community Services department and is managed by the sports development officer.

The sports development service has a significant enabling role providing grant aid, support and advice to the community. It works in partnership with other local authorities, groups and individuals to provide improved cultural and community services for its residents.

The service aims to create opportunities for young people, facilitate sports development and promote healthy lifestyles in the community.
