How you can help

There are a variety of ways in which you can support the park and the work that we do.

Below is a list of ways in which you can get involved and help us:

Volunteering

We are always looking for volunteers who can commit to helping us with a variety of tasks round the park including planting bulbs, loosening ties and clearing of grass and weeds round young trees, clearing undergrowth, coppicing, filling up bags of bird food, weeding and generally tidying up the park. We also need volunteers to help us in the office with basic office work such as inputting information onto a database. Contact Malcolm Busby on (01223) 420 060 or email miltoncp@scambs.gov.uk

Corporate Marketing and Sponsorship

There are a number of corporate marketing and sponsorship opportunities for businesses to take advantage of at Milton Country Park. Sponsorship is the ideal way to raise the profile of your business or organisation whilst supporting initiatives and events at the country park. The park has approximately 200,000 visitors attending annually and 80,000 vehicles making use of the car park. Please visit the corporate marketing and sponsorship page for more details.

Hiring the visitor centre

The reception room in visitor centre is available to hire. It overlooks a beautiful lake with capacity for up to 50 (seated) people and is available for meetings and events. It is perfect for children's birthday parties, themed parties and lots more.

Sponsor a fruit tree

The Friends of Milton Country park have supplied funding to help create a new community orchard which we hope will flourish as more fruit trees are planted. You can sponsor a fruit tree which costs £50 a tree with a page in the park's donation book for your message. Trees are still available for sponsorship. Contact Malcolm Busby on (01223) 420 060

Make a donation

Individuals or organisations can make a donation to the current running of the park. A collection box will soon be on display at the park and donations will be used for current projects. For more information contact Joseph Minutolo on 08450 450 500

Hold a team building day

A corporate sponsorship package is available for businesses. Enjoy getting involved in conservation activities including coppicing and planting, please look at our team building page.

Visit the park

The park has so much to offer for everyone from wildlife to dog walking to fishing to cycling to activities and events. Also the Swallows Café will remain open throughout the summer and is open from 11am-2.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday. Please come along and support us.
