Camboccia

Members of the Cambocia team

On 29 August 2009 we marked the 3-year countdown to the Paralympics with the introduction of a new Boccia Club (Camboccia).

Boccia is a game to be played for enjoyment, social and health benefits . . . with a dose of competitive edge for those seeking it!

It's a target game, which demands skill and subtlety as opposed to strength or speed and is played in this country by young, old, men, women, those with and those without disability.

Camboccia has joined the recently formed regional league and looks forward to some competitive matches.

The training sessions take place every Sunday at Impington Sports Centre from 2.15pm to 3.45pm and new members
are always welcome. For more information or to book a place contact Shaun McCormick on 01223 223947 or email shaun@camboccia.co.uk (This link will open in a new window).
