PARK LIFE

2 year Countdown to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
The 'Open Weekend' has already enabled over a million people to take part in sport, arts and culture events across the length and breadth of the UK. Open Weekend is part of the Cultural Olympiad and is one of several projects underway as part of the four-year programme leading up to the 2012 Games aimed at adding to the excitement of the Games, but also to create a legacy that will include participation after the Games.
Last year over 1,000 people took part in the 'Open Weekend' event at Milton Country Park organised by South Cambridgeshire District Council in partnership with the Cambridge Sports Lake Trust. The organisers of the event have set themselves the challenge this year of providing even more activities for people to come and try for FREE.

The PARK LIFE event at Milton country Park will be held on Sunday 25th July and all activities will start from 11am - 4pm. The 'Open Weekend' celebrates the official 2 year countdown to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the challenge for you is to come a long with the family and try something new to help you get active in the lead up to the 2012 Games.
