What cover is there out of hours?
The out of hours service is run by the Primary Care Trust. They provide 24-hour cover to all our sheltered housing schemes during evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The highly skilled team, made up of nursing and social care staff, provides access to healthcare professionals where necessary between 5.00 pm and 9.00 am. The team are able to provide support and if necessary care and treatment themselves or make a clinical judgement about whether medical assistance or emergency services are needed.
