Contractors

South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) employ a number of different contractors to carry out works both on a day-to-day basis and for programmed works. For the vast majority of works, three main contractors are employed:

For day-to-day repairs within the West & East patches the housing services department of SCDC is employed.
For the South area, City Services.

When are other Contractors used?

SCDC only employs other contractors if they have a specific need for an expert to deal with particular works. It will be either a Housing Services Officer or a Technical Officer who will assign other contractors.
