Internal Decoration

This scheme is available for anyone aged 60+ or in Sheltered Housing accommodation and entitles you to have 2 rooms re-decorated. The scheme is run every 5 years and villages are chosen on a rotational basis

For example: in 2004, Cottenham, Willingham and Rampton were chosen and in 2009 it will be Sawston, Fowlmere and Shepreth.

How to apply

You need to inform housing services either verbally or in writing with the following information:

• Name
• Address
• Which 2 rooms to decorate

What happens next?

If your village has been selected for the current contract your details will be included. If your village has not been chosen, your details will be held on file until your village is selected for the next contract.

Q How will I know when this will be done?

A. You will be notified in writing once the contract has been accepted. This will inform you of the contractor that will carry out the works. The contractor will contact you direct to let you know when the works will be done.

Q Can I choose what colour paint I want?

A. Yes, you can choose from four pastel colours which will be shown to you before the works start.
