Housing Policy

The following policies relate to the Council's housing stock and/or land owned by the Council.

Anti-Social Behaviour Policy
This policy explains what constitutes anti-social behaviour for Council tenants as well as those living in other tenures.

Land & Garages Policy
This policy sets out the aims and objectives of SCDC in dealing with applications for the purchase of its housing land and garages.

Non-Statutory Succession Policy
This policy sets out the aims and objectives of SCDC in dealing with cases of non-statutory succession of its Council properties.

Succession Assignment Policy
This policy sets out the aims and objectives of SCDC in dealing with cases of succession to tenancies and assignment of its Council properties.

Trees Maintenance Policy
This policy sets out the Council's policy on retaining, managing and enhancing the tree stock for the benefit for all. This policy does not cover all the tress within the District but relates primarily to trees within Council ownership.

Unauthorised Occupation of Council Properties
This policy sets out the aims and objectives of SCDC in dealing with cases of unauthorised occupation of its Council properties.
