The National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP)

Grant aid is available to both housing associations and (from 2006) private developers to provide affordable housing that meets the investment plans proposed by the Regional Housing Boards. The funding is allocated by the Homes & Communities Agency (formerly known as the Housing Corporation). Funding is available through the National Affordable Housing Programme 2008-11 - currently bids can be submitted via the Continuous Market Engagement process as and when schemes are ready to progress (see www.homesandcommunities.co.uk (This link will open in a new window) for further information). South Cambs DC plays an active role in supporting bids that meet local needs and provide value for money.
