Repairs and Maintenance to Leasehold Shared Ownership Properties and Leasehold First Time Buyer Properties
What are your repairs and maintenance responsibilities?
- The interior and exterior of your property and all tanks, cisterns, drains, sanitary and water pipes and cables and wires inside or exclusively serving your property.
- This will include exterior decoration, replacement of doors and windows, and heating.
What are South Cambridgeshire District Council's repair and maintenance responsibilities?
- To keep in good repair the pipes, conduits, drains and sewers in, under or upon adjoining or neighbouring property which belongs to South Cambridgeshire District Council and serves your property but excludes pipes, drains and sewers which exclusively serve your property.
- Any footpaths indicated on the plan in your lease.
- To keep the common amenity areas on the housing estate in a neat and tidy condition.
