How many recycling methods can you spot?
Boy: Flatten the cereal box first...I will mum
Mum: Good lad
Boy: Told this kid from school that we were into recycling, he thought I meant biking!
Mum: Who's that love?
Boy: Pete Banks
Mum: Oh
Mum: Leave your milk carton, I'll rinse it in a minute. Can you put the lid on the bin for me
Boy: In a minute.... Peter shoves everything in the bin... never recycles anything
Dad: What a waste... any more milk love?
Mum: In the fridge!
Boy: I told him it all gets put into landfill sites
Dad: and there's not 'mushroom' in there!! ha ha
Boy: Oh dad!
Mum: and if you've finished making bad jokes, perhaps you can take these plastic bottles to the bank on your way to work? And sort those for me ...
Dad: I'll drop that bag of old clothes off too...
Mum: don't forget to put your magazine into the recycling bin
Dad: I know
Mum: ooh it's nearly 7 o'clock love, can you get them bins out?
Dad: Sure love..
Narrator:
IN less than 2 hours, the UK produces enough waste to fill the Albert Hall and an average family like this produces 1 tonne of household waste ever year.
Don't waste it, over 90% can be recycled in all kinds of ways.
