Eco-renovation workshop: Eco-renovation on a budget (Cambridge Carbon Footprint)

Suzie and Iain Webb will share their experiences of transforming their 1950s semi on a limited budget. Andy Brown of Cambridge Architectural Research will be on hand with technical explanations. We'll also be making time to hear from you about which topics you'd like covered in future meetings.

Green Communities Training: Energy Auditing for Community Buildings
Date: Thursday 16th September
Time: 9.45am - 4.30pm **DAY TIME EVENT**

Cost: Free to Green Communities members (sign up online here)
I have secured this training workshop for SPEP members primarily with any additional places being offered to other parishes. The workshop will be delivered by The Energy Saving Trust. The workshop will covered aspects of energy efficiency, conservation and generation within community buildings. The course will run all day and lunch will be provided. If you are interested in attending please fill in the booking form.
Cambridge Regional College: Eco-refurbishment for householders (5-week course)
Date: Course commences Tuesday 21st September
Time: 7-9pm
Cost: £45 for the 5 week course or £25 for concessions (please contact Sarah Bearpark at Cambridge Regional College for details)
The course is for adults who want to improve the energy efficiency of their homes but are confused about what they should do and how to go about doing it. Each week will focus on a particular element including energy monitoring and draught-proofing, roof/lofts, heating, walls and lighting, and renewable energy.
