New Planning Application Search Facility Online

We have recently installed a new planning IT system. It should improve the service we deliver and enable us to work more efficiently. All in all, you should experience a better service.
As part of this process our new Planning Application search facility came online on Monday, July 26, 2010.
The new facility has some additional functions which we didn't have before, as well as the old ones. You can:
- search for planning applications in your area
- get details about applications, including descriptions
- print or download a list of applications for an area
- view the weekly applications received and determined list
but also, by registering with us, you can:
- submit an enforcement complaint
- receive notifications of applications of interest.
In addition to what is listed above, we will be adding more features in the future.

Because this upgraded planning system is very new and still being installed, we have experienced a few glitches with it and ask you to please bear with us whilst we fix them.
We have also produced a list of the issues we have found, together with suggestions for using the new system to get the best possible results.
